Insurance, in plain words
Lemon Tree Therapy is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly, which means your sessions are shaped by what you need rather than by what a plan authorizes. After each session we provide an itemized superbill so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer. Many plans reimburse part of out-of-network therapy, so it is worth calling your insurance company to ask. HSA/FSA cards are accepted.
Sliding scale
A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available based on financial need. Ask about them when you reach out.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care if you do not use insurance. We are happy to provide one before your first session. Read more on our Good Faith Estimate page.
